Topcon Positioning Systems has announced the creation of a dedicated business structure focused on delivering high-precision technology, software, and services for geomatics. The new organisation consolidates and expands Topcon’s portfolio of surveying, geospatial, and GIS solutions, while opening new pathways into emerging markets. The specialised division is an addition to the company structure, which includes established divisions dedicated to construction and agriculture.
ADM, through it ADM Cares program, has partnered with Conservation International to support Herding for Health. This program, which is a community-driven livestock management initiative, is a partnership between Conservation International and Peace Parks Foundation and unites pastoralists, conservationists, and governments in Southern Africa to restore degraded rangelands, enhance biodiversity, and strengthen rural livelihoods.
smaXtec is introducing OwnX, an employee ownership programme. Through this initiative, approximately 250 employees in the US and worldwide will gain the opportunity to benefit financially from the growth and shared success of the innovative ag-tech company. The program spans all teams – from the US to Europe and New Zealand.
Alltech has launched Mycosorb A+ Evo and Mycosorb Evo aimed in protecting livestock health and performance against multi-mycotoxin threats. The range delivers mycotoxin-binding efficacy and broader-spectrum coverage. Benefits of the range include increased efficacy toward key mycotoxins, including DON, fusaric acid and Penicillium-derived toxins, enhanced broad-spectrum coverage to address complex multi-mycotoxin challenges, and improved protection of performance where it matters most, inside the animal.

On 1 October Royal De Heus signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% of CJ Feed & Care’s operations in Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Cambodia, and the Philippines. This acquisition includes 17 feed mills. Pending customary regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
Bioiberica has launched its extended Nucleoforce product line for animal immune and intestinal health. The range will feature 3 new functional ingredients designed to address demand for a broader and more aspirational approach to animal nutrition: Nucleoforce Immunity, Nucleoforce Performance, and Nucleoforce High Flowability (HF).

VNU Europe has announced the first edition of VIV Africa, which will take place in 2027 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. With this, VIV introduces an annually alternating exhibition format: in even years in Kigali, Rwanda, and in odd years in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. VIV Africa is already being organised in Kigali, providing VIV with a solid foundation in East Africa.
DSM-Firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health and Schothorst Feed Research have announced a strategic partnership through which Schothorst Feed Research will leverage Sustell to answer sustainability-related questions and, where relevant, integrate into Schothorst’s own research trials. DSM-Firmenich has also partnered with Bayer. The companies have signed a MoU to advance sustainability in the animal agriculture sector, also through Sustell.
