Lower profit for Brazilian dairy farmers

The prices paid to Brazilian milk producers increased but were less than the costs of production between January and October 2021. Input costs increased 14% while farmers received 4.8% more for their milk during that period, according to the Center for Advanced Studies on Applied Economy (Cepea) at the University of São Paulo (USP).
