Switzerland is struggling with a milk surplus. Dairy farmers are producing so much that dairies can’t keep up, according to the German trade magazine Top Agrar and Swiss media. Milk production has increased due to the excellent quality of roughage that Swiss farmers harvested in 2025. At the same time, exports are under pressure.
