Over 60,000 tonnes of skimmed milk powder stocks were sold on 13 December in the biggest sale since public tenders began in December 2016. This is according to the European Commission. The tender was made official on December 11 and included a total of 180,658 tonnes offered. Approximately 3/4 of skimmed milk powder bought into public stock have now been carefully returned to the market (60,537 tonnes). Public stock reduced to 100,000 tonnes
