In 2026, Belgium will no longer require mandatory vaccination against bluetongue (BTV) serotypes 3 and 8 (BTV-3 and BTV-8) and epizootic haemorrhagic disease (EHD). This was announced by Federal Minister of Agriculture David Clarinval. Reimbursement for the vaccinations will also be discontinued.
